MARINA & FUEL DOCK

Breakwater Cove Marina is a beautifully located, clean, environmentally friendly & well-maintained facility. We share our docks with abundant wildlife such as sea otters, sea lions and a diverse variety of sea & shore birds. We are a deep-water marina consisting of 100 slips complete with amenities such as water, power, Wi-Fi, fuel dock, oil, bilge and head pump outs, dockside repair, chandlery, restrooms, hot showers and laundry room. For your comfort and convenience there is a dock hand on the premises to assist you with further needs or general advice.
 
Yacht clubs and groups welcome. Guest berthing available for vessels up to 200’.

Pump Out Use Guidelines at Breakwater Cove Marina

Breakwater Cove Marina provides pump‑out and environmental services to the boating public; however, these services are located on private marina property, and all private docking rules apply. Unauthorized docking is not permitted.

All boaters must follow this required instruction:

Please check in with the Fuel Dock radio Channel 9, (831) 647-9402 or Marina Office (831) 373-7857 when you are pulling up, or call ahead so we can direct you. . This applies to all vessels, every time.

1. Docking Requirement – No Unauthorized Tie‑Ups

  • All vessels must radio Channel 9 or call the Marina Office at 831‑373‑7857, option 1 before approaching the service dock.

  • Staff will confirm whether space is available and provide docking direction.

  • Vessels arriving without checking in will be instructed to depart immediately and call for direction.

  • This is the same process used for fueling and applies to all public services.

2. Blackwater Pump‑Out Procedures

Location: East side of the marina, adjacent to the Fuel Dock.

Process:

  • Radio or call the Fuel Dock before approaching.

  • Dock only after receiving clearance.

  • Follow posted pump‑out instructions or click here for instruction. 

Time Limit:

  • Vessels may remain only for the duration of the pump‑out.

  • Once finished, vessels must depart immediately.

  • If additional time is needed, vessels must check in again so staff can determine whether space is available.

3. Bilge Pump‑Out & Oil Disposal Procedures

  • These services are located at the service dock as part of the marina’s environmental compliance program.

  • Vessels must radio or call ahead for direction before docking.

  • No vessel may tie up without authorization.

Time Limit:

  • Vessels may remain only for the duration of the disposal activity.

  • Immediate departure is required once finished.

4. Service Dock Use & Time Limits

  • The service dock is a working dock used for fueling, pump‑outs, operational needs, and emergency access.

  • It must remain clear and available at all times.

  • Vessels may not wait, stage, or hold position at the dock without authorization.
