ALL SLIPS REQUIRE:

First month’s rent & security deposit.

Refundable key & parking permit deposits of $50 and $100 each, respectively.

Proof of insurance, registration or documentation, residency, and inspection for length and condition.

We have no live-aboard opportunities at this time.

 

*BASIS FOR DETERMINING MONTHLY RENTAL:

The length of the boat (furthest bow overhang to furthest stern overhang), or the length of the berth, whichever is greater. Base slip fee is listed above. If the vessel is longer than the length of the slip, then the monthly rental will be “Base fee + $17.00 for each additional foot”.  Final rental amount will be determined when the boat arrives & measured by marina personnel. An audit may be completed periodically on all vessels.

**PURCHASE OF CURRENT TENANT VESSEL

When a boat is purchased in the marina, the new owner has the first opportunity to apply for the berth if the current tenant gives a 30-day notice. If tenancy is accepted, the new owner will pay the berth assignment rate (1.5 times the regular rate) for three years or until the new owner is offered a regular berth from the waiting list, whichever comes sooner. The boat may not necessarily be in the same berth as the former tenant. Vessels in 35’ berths may be required to upgrade to a 50’ berth until their name comes up on the wait list.

Commercial fishing vessels are not subject to the berth assignment rate but will be charged at the regular rate. (Current F&G Tags Required)

As a tenant of Breakwater Cove Marina, you are entitled to one parking permit in our private lot on, first-come, first-served basis. Tenants are also eligible to receive a 10% discount at the boat yard with Monterey Boat Haven for haul-out services. Please call Monterey Boat Haven at 831-375-6921 to be scheduled.
